Client

ClipperCab is a community-shared vehicle services using converted black cabs from our client. The project aims to extend the market of sustainable converting industry, while exploring values for common good beneath the company and brand, and build a more bright and positive future planning on the view of design narrative.

In our service, the iconic symbol of London traffic, converted black cabs would be offered to each street and neighbour community as shared vehicles for daily use. Due to the unique design and properties of black cabs, they are extremely suitable for family’s short-term drive in London city, which corresponds to the healthy street plan of urban government of reducing private car dominance.

Moreover, due to the inclusive nature of black cabs, we highlighted the sharing and helping behaviours in community sharing process. The booking website is designed for encouraging neighbourhood members get close to each other, and use the cab as a medium to communicate and take care.

ClipperCab tries to celebrate the sustainable industry in a larger frame, and reconsider the societal structure for a more inclusive, united and humane future.
