T.A.I.L., or Tangible Artificial Intelligence Limb, is an experiment over redefine the relationship between human and ai, by referring to the domestication history of companion animals, in particular, dogs.
Inspired by the wagging behavior of dogs, the project employs Vader sentimental analysis to reflect AI chatbot's emotional state during interactions. This approach challenges conventional perceptions of AI by questioning why AI must emulate human rather than adopting the cooperative and empathetic traits of another species.
T.A.I.L. tries to prompt reflection on the nature of AI-human dynamics and fosters new avenues for collaboration and understanding
Through the development of artificial intelligence, a rend rises that we try to challenge the uniqueness of human beings, by making AI that could do human’s jobs, from basic manufacturing, to walking, learning, creating, chatting, even giving them characters and emotions. But human beings are complex species, and it raises issues like trust in AI, joblessness concern, and data biases . Is making an AI that could emulate, eventually replace human the only approach of human-AI relationship ? Or, if we see AI as another species, what will we want it to be?
Dogs, the very first natural technology adapted to human society for over 14,000 years, an intelligence that evolves and reveals its capability with the development of our own society.

T.A.I.L. is a chatbot that connects to chatGPT, but with a tail that could reveal its emotions behind the answer. Sentiment analysis tool is used to evaluate the emotion states, which is then shown on the tail movements.
